Information about our språkcafé
Once you have subscribed to our språkcafé, your address will be added to our mailing list. The 👉unsubscribe link is located at the bottom of each email invitation.
We usually meet on Wednesdays at 7 pm. You will receive an invitation to the språkcafé the same day at 4:00 PM.
The invitation contains the 👉instructions and a passcode to join the språkcafé-session.
Our språkcafé is divided into mini-sessions which usually last for 30-45 minutes. After each session we change groups. At the språkcafé, we talk in groups of 3 (sometimes pairs) to give the participants as much time to speak as possible.

The duration of the språkcafé is not limited and of course you can leave whenever you want. You can also come after the språkcafé starts, but it is good to be on time.
If your conversation partners left before the mini-session ended and you were the only one left in the group, you don't have to leave, you can wait a few minutes to be transferred to another group.
Participants can talk about whatever they want. To make the conversations run more smoothly, a 👉topic with discussion questions and a 👉language workshop are prepared for each språkcafé which can be used by the participants if they wish.
At the beginning of each språkcafé, we play a few-minute language game based on the Kahoot! platform. Read more about 👉how to play Kahoot!.

More 👉information about the språkcafé can be found on our website, which is available in English and Swedish. If you have any questions, you are most welcome.
Tips
📷 Have your camera on. It is much easier to communicate when you can see a person during online communication.
🔈 Find a quiet place. It is difficult to understand each other if there is noise in the background.
⭐️ Make an effort!
Speak as much Swedish as you can.
Be interested, keep the conversation going
💗 Be kind and respectful to others. Even if you may have different opinions.
🤝 Help others. For example, to find the right words in Swedish or to share useful information.
🌷 Value conversation with every participant, regardless of their Swedish level. We were all beginners at one point and others helped us.
