WHAT IS COMPARISON OF ADJECTIVES?

Comparison of adjectives is changing an adjective from its base form, positive, into its comparative or superlative form, which we do when comparing things.

HOW WE COMPARE ADJECTIVES IN SWEDISH

A) by adding the suffixes -are and -ast

positive	comparative	superlative
skön (nice)	skönare	skonast
snäll (kind)	snällare	snällast
farlig (dangerous)	farligare	farligast

B) by adding the suffixes -re and -st

In that case, the vowels can be changed!
