So let's complicate the situation a little more, let's add another component to ett-nouns and pronouns – adjectives.
Let's first see how adjectives are combined with ett-nouns only.

The large tables were completely destroyed.
This was the case when the adjective stood next to the noun (the attributive adjective), but when the adjective is placed separately (the predicative adjective) it is always in the indefinite form but it corresponds to whether the noun is in the singular or plural.

Ett-nouns are often combined with demonstrative and possessive pronouns and adjectives at the same time. The pronoun determines which form will the adjective and ett-noun take.
