LW #44: Ett-nouns with pronouns in sentences

In the last three lessons we learned about ett-nouns, how they change form. They can take on plural or singular forms, and each of these two can take on an indefinite and a definite form.
A. Fill in the blank spaces with appropriate forms of the word ett bord.
obestämd singular (indefinite singular)
Jag skulle vilja köpa ____________ till mitt rum.
I would like to buy a table for my room.
bestämd singular (definite singular)
____________ jag såg på IKEA var fint.
The table I saw at IKEA was nice.
obestämd plural (indefinite plural)
Jag behöver faktiskt två ____________.
I actually need two tables.
bestämd plural (definite plural)
Jag placerar ____________ bredvid varandra.
I place the tables next to each other.
The previous example showed how the majority of ett-nouns change form. These nouns end in a consonant. However, there is also another group of ett-nouns that end in a vowel.
B. Sort the following words into the appropriate groups.
ett ställe, ett tak, ett ansikte, ett skåp, ett foto, ett focus, ett evenemang, ett schema

Ett-nouns that end in a vowel change form differently than those that end in a consonant; they have different suffixes.
C. Fill in the blank spaces with appropriate forms of the word ett äpple.
obestämd singular (indefinite singular)
Jag åt ____________ igår.
I ate an apple yesterday.
bestämd singular (definite singular)
____________ var gott.
The apple was tasty.
obestämd plural (indefinite plural)
Jag köpte fler ____________ idag.
I bought more apples today.
bestämd plural (definite plural)
Men ____________ var inte goda.
But the apples were not tasty.
We also learned in the last lesson how ett-nouns change form depending on which pronouns they are combined with.
With demonstrative pronouns (den/den här/den där, det / det här / det där, de / de här / de där) all nouns come in definite form.
D. Fill in the blanks with appropriate forms of nouns.
Den här ____________ är vit. (en katt)
This cat is white.
Det där ____________ är tungt. (ett bord)
That table is heavy.
Vår granne har fyra får. Jag såg de ____________ igår. (ett får)
Our neighbor has four sheep. I saw those sheep yesterday.
The exception to this rule is the "shortened" demonstrative pronouns denna (shortened form of den här/den den), detta (shortened form of det här/det där), dessa (shortened form of de här/de där). With these demonstrative pronouns we use the indefinite form.
E. Fill in the blanks with appropriate forms of nouns.
Denna ____________ är vit. (en katt)
This/that cat is white.
inte: denna katten
Jag köpte detta ____________. (ett bord)
I bought this/that table.
inte: detta bordet

With possessive pronouns (min/mitt/mina, din/ditt/dina etc.) we always use the indefinite form.
