What is the B2+ group?
The B2+ group is a new conversation group at Online Språkcafé intended for those whose knowledge of Swedish is at least at level B2.
Some will contribute to the group with their fluency, and some with a rich vocabulary, but all should be at an advanced level so that they can improve each other's speaking skills and general knowledge of the Swedish language.
When and where will the sessions be held?
We will be on Zoom every Sunday from 6 to 8 pm Swedish time.
How to participate?
First, one needs to be a 👉subscriber to Online Språkcafé, although it is not obligatory to attend the general språkcafés on Wednesdays. None of the activities at Online Språkcafé are obliging in any way.
Secondly, one needs to receive an invitation to become a member of the B2+ group. Those who accept the membership invitation will start receiving weekly invitations to the B2+ group sessions. Invitations are sent out on Sundays at 3 pm.
Those whose language skills I am already sufficiently familiar with, and are at B2 level, will automatically receive a membership invitation, while others interested in participation in the B2+ group sessions can voice their interest at our general språkcafés on Wednesdays, where we can arrange a conversation to assess whether the current level of Swedish is at the level required to participate in the group.
How will the group function?
The main framework is pair-based discussion during half-hour sessions with various speakers. Other activities such as debates, a reading club, grammar workshops, etc. may be added in the future.
